The CNSL Mortar offered by us is a non porous, self hardening & relatively plastic in nature. They are known for their resistance against various types of acids, alkalies, & also from water. Apart from this they are made up of high grade material using modern machinery. They are basically used for bedding materials so that the bricks and tiles can be easily set while construction of floors, surface, and in areas that are prone to acid such as acid resisting tanks linings. These mortar are excellent in absorbing heavy impacts that are subjected to floors, surfaces & tanks.

Preparation Of CNSL Mortar:

The Preparation Of Resilex Cement Mortar has certain procedures that need to be carried away. It is prepared combining powder with liquid solution in adequate quantity to form a paste like material that can be worked upon. The mixing quantity is in the form of ration i.e.1 part of the solution is mixed with 3 parts of powder by weight. Apart from this the ratio can be slightly altered due to temperature changes & the working environment. The cement has chemical in it so the setting of cement requires an accumulating heat for proper reaction to take place and set properly

Procedure:

There are certain guidelines that are recommended to follow for the preparation of cement:

  • The liquid solution should be thoroughly mixed and stirred well before it is applied on the place. 1 Kg. of the solution can be easily mixed in a shallow pan.
  • Now add 3 Kg. Of powder by weight & it should be rapidly & thoroughly mixed so as to form a smoother mortar. If at any point you find that the mixture is quiet dilute, add more powder in small amounts slowly while mixing it simultaneously until you achieve a specified consistency. Similarly add liquid resin if the mixture is too stiff. The mixture should be mixed until it is free from any lumps or trapped air.
  • Now the thick layer of cement should be spread in the form of layer so that it can scattered evenly & the heat can lengthen the life span of it.
  • The size of the mixture will be totally dependent on the speed of the mason and the temperature as large batch mixture will turn stiff quiet fast.
  • Once the mixture gets stiffed or start getting stiff it cannot be used. Do not add more liquid or attempt to dilute it as the mixture is usable.
  • Another important point to consider is that use the old mixture completely before making another batch of the mixture in the same pan

Application of the CNSL Mortar:

The Mortar offered by us are used typically used on the acid proof brick. The application of this cement is same as the traditional brick layer method. It should be handled with utmost care as the bricks should be properly cleaned and dried up before they are laid. The cement is best for joining chemical resisting tiles & other material such as stoneware pipes. The cement should be applied on the dried surface as it does not set on the wet surface. Apart from this after application the area must be remain completely dry and unused for around 5 to 7 days.
